Description

This role sits inside Deloitte's own internal product team rather than a typical client-billed consulting engagement — the Digital Excellence Centre builds the platforms Deloitte India itself runs on, blending design thinking with modern engineering. As an Executive, you'll work across implementation, application support, and basic web development, which means the job is genuinely varied: some days you're translating a client's business requirement into an actual technical configuration, other days you're deep in troubleshooting a production issue under time pressure. Day to day, you'll work across a real modern stack — Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL form the core, with exposure to React, Node.js or FastAPI depending on the project, plus REST API integrations spanning both relational and NoSQL databases. You'll also get hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) for deployment and configuration work, and since this is a client-facing technical role, you'll directly support onboarding and training for the systems you help build. Security and data protection aren't afterthoughts here — they're baked into how you're expected to handle configurations and data from day one. This role suits fresh graduates who want breadth early in their career — implementation, support and development all in one seat — rather than a narrowly scoped engineering role. It's a weaker fit if you want to specialize deeply in one layer of the stack immediately. DEC Executives who build strong client-facing technical skills here often move toward Senior Executive or Consultant-level full-stack roles within Deloitte, or transition into more specialized cloud/platform engineering tracks with a couple of years of tenure.

Responsibilities

Work on software implementation, application support and basic web development for client-facing systems
Translate client business requirements into product configurations, workflows and technical implementation solutions
Apply data structures, algorithms and problem-solving fundamentals to troubleshoot and optimize application behavior
Develop, customize and support application features using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL
Work with web technologies such as React.js, Node.js or FastAPI to support modern web applications
Integrate systems using REST APIs and manage data flow across RDBMS and NoSQL databases
Assist in deploying, configuring and supporting applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Troubleshoot implementation and production issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal client impact

Who You Are

Have 0 to 2 years of experience in software implementation, application support or web application development
Show basic understanding of data structures, algorithms and structured problem-solving
Have working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL
Be able to translate client requirements into product configurations, workflows and implementation solutions
Understand REST APIs, data integrations, and working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
Show ability to troubleshoot implementation issues and support client onboarding and integrations
Understand core security and data protection best practices when handling application data
Be comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice-To-Haves

Hands-on exposure to React.js, Node.js or FastAPI beyond coursework or academic projects
Experience or exposure to deploying or configuring applications on AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha or PyTest
Ability to write clean, reusable and testable code as a habitual practice rather than an afterthought
