Responsibilities

• ✓Collaborate with experienced, cross-disciplinary engineers to conceive, design, and ship new products and services
• ✓Design and build technology within a large distributed computing environment
• ✓Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at significant scale and speed
• ✓Build distributed storage, indexing, and query systems that stay scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-cost
• ✓Take broadly defined problems and turn them into well-designed, working code
• ✓Work within an agile team structure to consistently deliver high-quality software

Who You Are

• ✓Hold a bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field
• ✓Understand core computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
• ✓Have working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, Java, or Perl
• ✓Be part of the 2025 or 2026 graduating class, since this program is scoped to recent and upcoming graduates

Nice-To-Haves

• ✓Previous technical internship experience
• ✓Exposure to distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• ✓Background in optimization mathematics, such as linear or nonlinear programming
• ✓Ability to explain technical challenges and tradeoffs clearly to others
• ✓Comfort working through ambiguous or loosely defined problems
