Software Engineer - D&DC Land Systems

Responsibilities

• ✓Develop and maintain embedded software in C and C++ across Linux, VxWorks and QNX environments
• ✓Write and debug code operating reliably within multi-thread and multi-process system architectures
• ✓Design and build internal tools that accelerate software development and debugging workflows for the team
• ✓Investigate and resolve issues escalated directly from customer deployment sites
• ✓Analyze system scalability and interworking issues, performing root cause analysis on system-level problems
• ✓Design built-in diagnostics and test code to improve system reliability and long-term supportability
• ✓Implement communication across physical layer protocols including Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA and ModBus
• ✓Work within distributed architecture systems, ensuring reliable intercommunication between components

Who You Are

• ✓Hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree, ideally in Computer Science, Electronics or a related engineering field
• ✓Have 0 to 4 years of relevant experience, with fresh graduates genuinely eligible to apply
• ✓Show excellent command over C and C++ programming languages
• ✓Have strong understanding of operating system principles across Linux, VxWorks and QNX
• ✓Have experience programming within multi-thread and multi-process environments
• ✓Be proficient with Linux, Jira and inter-process communication mechanisms
• ✓Understand IP protocols, VLANs and Ethernet switching concepts
• ✓Show excellent analytical, integration and debugging skills alongside strong written and oral communication

Nice-To-Haves

• ✓Prior hands-on experience developing large, complex software systems in an industry setting
• ✓Exposure to distributed architecture systems with real intercommunication requirements
• ✓Familiarity with defense, aerospace or other safety-critical software development environments
• ✓Experience working directly with customer-reported production issues in a support capacity
