This role puts fresh graduates into software testing work specifically tied to Wealth and Asset Management systems — portfolio management, trade order and custody platforms — rather than generic QA work. You won't need deep financial domain knowledge on day one, but real curiosity about how asset management systems actually function is something EY explicitly looks for, since testing financial software well means understanding what a defect could actually cost a client. Day to day, expect a mix of manual and automated testing work: writing and executing test cases, running SQL queries to validate data during testing, and working through the standard defect lifecycle from finding an issue to confirming a fix. Programming exposure in Java, .NET or Python helps you understand and eventually write automated test scripts, though you're not expected to arrive as a skilled developer. Responsibilities

Write and execute manual test cases against defined requirements for Wealth and Asset Management systems
Run SQL queries to validate data accuracy during testing cycles
Support automated test script development or execution using Java, .NET or Python where applicable
Track defects through their full lifecycle, from identification through verification of the fix
Collaborate with EY teams across multiple countries as part of real client engagements
Apply structured testing techniques such as boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning where relevant
Participate in test planning and closure reporting activities alongside senior testing team members

Who You Are

Hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a circuit branch (Electronics, Electrical, ECE or EEE)
Have secured 60% or above in academic qualifications, as this is a hard eligibility requirement for this drive
Have no active academic backlogs at the time of application
Show basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, .NET or Python
Have working knowledge of database concepts and SQL, Oracle or Teradata for data validation
Show a collaborative, adaptive approach to working within a team-based consulting environment
Demonstrate genuine curiosity and a strong eye for detail, both explicitly listed as core behavioral requirements

Nice-To-Haves

Familiarity with manual or automation testing tools from coursework, internships or personal projects
Basic understanding of financial services or Wealth and Asset Management domain concepts
Any prior internship experience specifically in software testing or QA
Comfort working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment typical of consulting engagements
