Associate Engineer

Responsibilities

• ✓Develop and maintain software for driver assistance, vehicle automation, and vehicle dynamics systems across heavy-duty truck platforms
• ✓Write and debug code in C, C++, C#, and Python for embedded automotive applications
• ✓Verify and validate software changes against automotive quality, safety, and reliability standards before release
• ✓Work with automotive communication protocols and truck electrical and electronic architecture to integrate new features
• ✓Apply AUTOSAR concepts and structured software development lifecycle practices to day-to-day engineering tasks
• ✓Use requirements and configuration management tools to track changes and keep documentation aligned with the codebase
• ✓Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to align on interfaces, timelines, and technical decisions
• ✓Support the team's transition toward control systems for battery-electric and fuel-cell vehicle platforms

Who You Are

• ✓Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• ✓One to three years of hands-on experience in automotive software development, verification, or validation work
• ✓Strong working knowledge of C, C++, and Python, with the ability to write and debug production-quality code
• ✓Solid understanding of embedded systems and how software interacts with truck electrical and electronic architecture
• ✓Basic familiarity with AUTOSAR and automotive software verification and validation concepts
• ✓Comfort using software development lifecycle practices and configuration or requirements management tools
• ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate well across cross-functional teams

Nice-To-Haves

• ✓Exposure to autonomous driving or motion estimation software specifically, rather than general automotive software
• ✓Prior work on battery-electric or fuel-cell vehicle platforms
• ✓Experience with occasional travel for cross-site or cross-team engineering work
• ✓A track record of adapting quickly when priorities or technical direction shift mid-project
