Description
This role is genuinely different from most entry-level BPO work — you're reviewing graphic, violent, sexual and otherwise disturbing content (adult content, hate speech, abuse, illegal acts, death and tragedy) and deciding what action to take based on defined policies. It's real, necessary work that keeps online platforms safer for everyone else, but it comes with real emotional weight, and Wipro is upfront that this requires genuine psychological resilience, not just technical skill.
Day to day, you'll work through a queue of flagged content, apply consistent judgment against strict policy guidelines, and hit defined SLAs and quality standards while managing your own wellbeing across the shift. The role runs on rotational shifts, including nights and holidays, since content review needs 24x7 coverage. Being fluent in more than one regional language is explicitly required, since content spans multiple languages and cultural contexts that a single-language reviewer couldn't handle accurately.
This role suits graduates who are emotionally steady, detail-oriented, and can maintain consistent judgment even when the material they're reviewing is difficult. It's a genuinely poor fit for anyone who struggles with exposure to disturbing content, and Wipro's own listing flags wellness participation as part of the role, not an optional extra — take that seriously when deciding whether to apply. Wipro frames this as "Guardians of the Internet" work, and content moderators who handle it well often move into quality analyst, team lead or trust & safety specialist roles over time.
